contentious issues with the banks and the ICT Unit of the University, payment of all forms of fees can now be made through the e-payment platform.
2. The Choice of the e-payment option has been made in order to facilitate quick registration by both newly admitted and returning students so as to enable them complete the process in good time and settle down for academic work as the first semester of the session has already been running for two weeks.
3. For the purpose of clarity, the e-payment is a platform which allows direct payment through any bank and from any location within and even outside the country using different payment devices including point of sales (POS), Quick Teller, and any tablets with such provisions.
4. Returning students in particular are to note that the first Semester of the 2015/2016 academic session which we are commencing in May this year should have begun in October last year.
5. Considering that results of another set of Candidates who sat for the 2016/2017 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Examinations have been released and they may soon be writing the Post UTME aptitude test, it has become imperative that academic activities for all categories of students should resume in earnest to avert the risk of losing one academic session.
6. In line with the resolutions of the meeting between Management of the University and leaders of the Student Union held on the 27th of April, 2016, all students should continue with normal academic activities pending the outcome of the Appeal by the student Union to the State Governor and the Benue State House of Assembly on the new charges for new students.
7. For clarification on any issues particularly modalities for payment of charges, students should contact either the Bursary Department, Information and Communication (ICT) or the Information Units as well as Academic Office.
